My Actifit Report Card: May 8 2024

A Pleasant Visit to Guelph!

My Morning -> Afternoon

After resetting my sleep schedule partially from the last couple of days over-doing it, I was definitely feeling a lot better now! Recovery Day 3, and it was to start at 9:30a!

Close to 11a now, I was ready and got myself up and going, starting off with some morning vitamins and supplements, brewing some coffee and prepared some breakfast.

I brought my meal over to the living room to begin catching up on my YouTube subscriptions, and television series!

Working through my economics, I checked up on my crypto, finances, spending, and budgeting!

Taking care of my gardening, yard work, and my cleaning of plants and trimmings; I was done my morning routine close to 11:30am.

My Afternoon -> Evening

So, early morning, I worked through my weekly finances, economics, budgeting, planning, and examined my portfolio - crypto, investments, stocks, -RRSP', TFSA', GIC's- and eventually examining my personal holdings, upcoming expenses, and my next week and months money expenditures!

I caught up to some other important things on my phone, cleaned up the house, and before I knew it, it was almost noon! I finished getting myself ready to head out for a pleasant afternoon stroll!

And upon arriving back and hearing a friend would not be attending, I made the executive decision to head out on my own little trek around a different neck of the woods today - Guelph!

I arrived close to 3:30p and began my trek around downtown!

I journeyed down Wyndham, then up Norfolk!

Until I reached the very top of the hill,

To a beautiful spot with a fantastic view of town, right at the base of the Basilica!

I continued past the multitude of churches,

Until eventually,

I arrived at something that was starting to look like a trailhead...

And eventually was deep into the bush - just like I love!

Finding these old ruins while traveling!

I continued forth, back towards the city as the trail merged and intertwined between old buildings and places...

Bringing me next to Guelph's Graffiti Wall!

Nearing Norfolk along the Speed River,

It was very beautiful, and I took my time snapping all of these shots!

Continuing,

I encountered a furry friend!

Before heading south towards the bend,

Wonder how many people have been in there!

I stopped to say hello to these geese,

And all their little minions,

Heading west to finish off my trek,

Past a kissing bridge!

Connecting to some city sidewalks;

With a beautiful view of the city itself!

Passing bridge after bridge,

I was deciding on one to cross,

Until coming to this...

This beast of a dam had so much water flowing through it!

Heading across I snapped some shots,

And eventually was right back where it all began!

A very enjoyable trek indeed!

And so, heading back just before the storm,

I smile and look back at having a good day!
