My Actifit Report Card: August 22 2021

Having fallen asleep extremely early last night (7pm), I awoke at 3:30 with energy oddly enough. I said hey, why not get an early start to my day. And so I did! A really early start, haha!

Morning ritual, watered yard (at like 4am haha), did my hydroponics and botany and then made some coffee and finally sat down to doing some well needed crypto work.

After doing my finances, I was starting to get hungry, and so I flicked on my subscriptions.

Below, find my recipe for the best eggs and toast ever...

Catching up -and watching my subscriptions on the side-, I made a chicken-of-the-woods and golden chanterelle mushroom pan fry until golden brown just like hash browns. #naturalmedicine on this one! I added my own home grown jalapeño pepper, shriveled and spicy, as well as sweet jalapeño and, lastly, but sadly not mine, organic green, yellow, and red bell peppers from the supermarket.

These veggies I pan fried in extra virgin olive oil about two minutes after starting the mushrooms, with the stirring of of the mushroom pan not super consistently but enough to get the internal flavor and juices out just right.

After 4 minutes total, all this was added to:
two organic eggs, two cups of cheese, two tablespoons of bacon crumble and 1/4cup milk or 1/8cup 14% cream to make the eggs that were to be scrambled.

Different from most people, I make my eggs in a pot with a wooden spoon to allow easy stirrage and consistency. I coat the entirety of the pot with butter using a paper towel prior to heating the burner, and when the butter begins to melt -adding a layer of creaminess that holds everything together in the end- you add the eggs mixed with the veggies, mushrooms, cheese, bacon and cream/milk.

Stirring consistently. Just over and over for 5 minutes will yield anyone THE BEST scrambled eggs in their life. I guarantee you. Then pop the toast down and bam Dan's your Uncle.

But anywaaaaays, on with the blog.

I hopped in the shower, got ready, was out the door by 8 and where I wanted to be by 11 :)

Alas, there's always new places to explore,

The workings from afar,

And up close,

Then down!

This place was beautifully stagnant in time...

But then, I stumbled upon this #abandonment

Still beautiful!

So many pictures I could post!

And these are only some,

It was a great adventure,

In so many ways,

So when I finally headed back,

City,

By city,

By city...

Until I made it home!

And saw this falcon perched up on a lamp post ending my day upon arrival home :)
