I woke today excited for the adventures ahead of me and, waking earlier than my party, took advantage of my time to get ready and explore around the new area a little bit. I wasn't disappointed!

When I arrived back, breakfast was made and I prepared for a hike with the group. The scenery was beautiful. Better yet, to die for.

The river and tributary that flooded the town completely, several years ago, in repair and showcasing the natural beauty of the area;

We continued walking, adventuring, finding new places to explore. And so we did.

We eventually reconnected with the main trails and headed back. The tiredness was beginning to kick in.

We arrived back, exhausted, but happy nonetheless with what we had accomplished; for it was a feat of its own and a journey it was.

Upon returning back, a rest was in order. The night was enjoyable and the most fun that I've had in years was had. I truly am thankful for this trip. It really is changing my perception on life :)
